With all of the changes in which triathlon i am going to compete in brings yet another training headache. My original thought was to do my 3 month weight program followed by 2 months of tri training, run the tri and then 2 months of running which would be for the race toward the end of summer but now i am left with quite the training dilemma. I am set on doing both before the end of next summer but with the change of races ia m intending to do i am given a 3 week gap between each. The half marathon is on the 28th of july and the Tri is 3 weeks later in August.
I have no idea how i am meant to train for both at the same time while still keeping up with the weight training as i do not want to lose any mass. Normally for a 1/2 you would need 2 months set aside of distance training and for a tri about the same of mixing it all up. This is going to be tricky.............
